Lions Clubs x AVFC Foundation 5-a-Side Tournament

We are pleased to announce a Lions Clubs 5-a-Side Tournament, raising funds for the Aston Villa Foundation.

This tournament is being organised by the Aston Villa Foundation and we are delighted to have secured one of twelve team slots.

Details

Date: Sunday 26 July 2026.
Times: approximately 11:00 - 16:00.
Venue: Brookvale Inner City Academy, Aston.

Cost for participants

The Bromsgrove Villa Lions have subsidised this for members. We are asking for £15 per participant, and this will also include a kit for the players.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome for the day. The prices are £5 for adults and £2.50 for under-18s.

Training

We are organising a training session on Tuesday 14th July 2026 in Bromsgrove. Members looking to participate in the tournament should be attending this season.

Anyone else wishing to have a kick-about is welcome too.

The price for the training session is likely to be £5 each.

What is the minimum age to participate in the tournament and training?
18-year-olds and above due to safeguarding.

Is this only open to male players?
No, this is open to male and female players.

How many players can be involved?
A total of 8 players per team - 5 starters and 3 substitutes. Players will be rotated to give everyone an even playing time.
